Digimon is one of those series that many, at face value, take to be some lesser version of Pokémon. But Digimon has many a claim to fame with its own original concept and style of gameplay, not to mention more than a few great films under its belt. Now, those of you looking to jump into the upcoming Digimon Alysion can apply for the closed beta!

Much like Pokémon TCG Pocket (last comparison I promise), Digimon Alysion is a digital version of the hit CCG that forms a core part of the franchise. The first time we've seen it arrive on smartphones, Digimon Alysion boasts all the flash and flare you'd expect from such a spin-off.

Coming hot on the heels of the franchise's 25th anniversary, fans can now sign up for a chance to get into the Digimon Alysion closed beta and be among the first to give it a go for themselves. But hurry, because applications close on August 3rd!

Liberated

Digimon Alysion also offers plenty in the way of content for fans to enjoy outside of just a reenactment of the CCG. That's because Digimon Alysion is set in the same universe as the Digimon Liberator comic series.

You'll be able to uncover a whole new original story with characters from Liberator making an appearance, as well as all-new characters and Digimon too! With only 10,000 players set to nab a spot, it's well worth applying quickly if you want to be in with a chance to play Digimon Alysion early!
