Today, we’ve got an exciting mission ahead in the world of Demigod Idle. As the name implies, you play as a demi-god in a beautiful RPG world packed with monsters, bosses and choices, so we are going to discover what it means to truly become a Legend.

I can see the similarities with Sword Master Story when it comes to the old-school pixelated art and the mechanics of weapons which play a significant role in advancing levels, but it has its own unique features too.

If you're not familiar with the genre, the menu might seem overwhelming at first since it's crammed with options and a lot of information - a challenge caused by the game not explaining anything. So, everything given to you at once will surely exhaust your brain. And once again, we’ve got your back - just hold on and read the Demigod Idle guide to get the best strategies, builds and secrets.

Now that you're here, find yourself a comfy place because we are going to jump right into the tips.

1
Tip #1: Understanding the stats

The initial aspect I'd like to discuss is the stats, as they hold significant importance in character development alongside other factors. One that wields considerable impact is the "strike rate." Achieving a crit rate of 500 is essential for unlocking this feature, and I strongly recommend prioritising this goal. In this game, strike rate carries substantial significance, with specific skills and traits dedicated to enhancing strike attacks.

2
Tip #2: Prepare your builds

What I like to do is go through and have a bunch of different builds. I will address this later on in this guide to summarise the three different builds you can pick. You can always go ahead and reset your traits for absolutely free. I have my first trait specifically set for gold farming. This is important to do early when you are starting out.

For my second trait build, I've focused on enhancing XP gain, raising this attribute to a high level. The same principle applies here as well. If I aim to rapidly accumulate XP, I switch to the second build. Conversely, if my priority is acquiring gold, I opt for the first build. As for the third, fourth, and fifth builds, they can be customised according to your specific requirements. However, I firmly believe that every player should have dedicated builds for gold and XP. These first two are essential. The others can be tailored for other purposes, such as enhancing attack or defence, depending on your needs. My third build, for instance, is entirely focused on boosting attacks, and I reserve it for situations where I struggle with defeating powerful bosses.

Tip #3: Claim Coupon Codes

Now, let's discuss coupon codes. Begin by navigating to the menu and selecting "settings." From there, locate the "super rewards" option, and the display will shift to a vertical layout. Simply scroll down to find the code entry field. Additionally, you have the opportunity to claim some complimentary items. Each day, you'll get a daily reward, so remember to check it regularly to collect your free rewards.

To input the code, type in "WELCOME TO DEMIGOD" in uppercase letters, and then click "confirm." I've already completed this step, and the rewards have been sent to my mailbox. If you're a new player, your mailbox may not be unlocked yet. Many features in the game unlock as you progress, so continue playing to access your mailbox along with extra rewards. Additionally, you'll unlock features like attendance rewards, rankings, summonings, awakenings, and skins as you advance.

4
Tip #4: Equipment and Substats

Now, let's jump into equipment options, focusing on substats when re-rolling. In the early stages, especially when you possess lower-tier gear, it's advisable to not repeatedly re-roll and expend your change-equipped option stones. This is because you'll frequently come across new gear as you progress. I recommend waiting until you've acquired at least super special A or super special S-tier equipment before attempting to obtain S and double S rolls for your substats.

However, when it comes to special gear, if you find yourself with limited options or even lower-tier D or C super special gear due to bad luck, it's generally not worthwhile to invest all your resources in attempts to obtain optimal options. This is because you're likely to obtain better gear relatively quickly.

Tip #5: Key Equipment Stats

The best options to look out for really depend on what you're trying to accomplish. Typically, if you're trying to do a gold build or a farming build, then you're obviously going to be looking to get the gold gain at least an S grade, if not a double S grade, which is pretty hard to get at that 1% rate, though it is possible.

For your weapons, some important ones to look out for have things like skill cooldowns and divine power. These are really strong. Item gain rate is good if you're just looking to farm lots of items. Also, a normal monster damage increase can be good for clearing lots of waves quickly.

Your armour piece movement speed is so important when you're trying to farm monsters quickly. This is going to let your character move around a lot faster. If you hadn't noticed, your character initially moves pretty slowly around the map, and wandering from one monster to another to hit them takes up a lot of time.

Having a big boost to your movement speed means your character is going to fly around the map, and you're just going to farm a lot faster. As always, divine power is another very important one to look out for.

6
Tip #6: Skills and Builds

Now, let's turn our attention to our skills. Skills are an interesting aspect of the game, with two distinct builds at our disposal - dark and divine. The question that often arises is which of these two is superior. The answer to that largely hinges on the skills you've unlocked and your specific objectives. Both dark and divine skills have their strengths, and the choice depends on how they synergize with your goals.

Regardless of your chosen build, some fundamental traits and strategies apply to all Demigod Idol skill sets. Let's start with the essentials:

  • Potential: Begin by allocating your points wisely. Invest three points in attack, three in defence, one in normal attack, three in skill cooldown, and four in critical damage. This foundational distribution will pave the way for success in any build.
  • Awakening Options: Prioritize obtaining SS attack power as an awakening option. While it might be a costly investment, the increased power it offers is certainly worth the expense. In the early game, you may settle for S-tier options, but your long-term goal should be SS attack power.

Now, let's check some details of the three distinct builds available for Demigod Idle, showcasing their respective traits, skills, and equipment.
