Bullet-hell blaster DeathSmiles shoots onto App Store today

Cave's gothic-themed bullet-hell shooter DeathSmiles has hit the New Zealand App Store, which - as regular readers will know - means that it's set to arrive on these shores around midnight.
The cult arcade hit - a critical success upon its 2009 Xbox 360 release - has a number of new features in its mobile incarnation, including a new game mode and an additional playable character.
DeathSmiles will be priced at £2.99/$4.99 for its first four days on sale. Thereafter you'll have to shell out £5.49/ $8.99 for the privilege of playing this fine shooter.
