Remedy's iOS driving shoot-'em-up Death Rally will soon be updated to version 1.3.

The update will include a brand new frozen track - adding slippery action and a new unique camera angle - and an unlocking system that rewards the collection of track parts.

Further additions will include the ability to restore your progress based on your Game Center data and 'Shadow Man', who will be available through in-app purchase.

Under-the-hood tweaks to Death Rally mean menus will be optimised for both the iPhone 4 and original iPad, with new sounds being added for the subway in Velodrama and the Striker weapon.

Several bugs will also be squashed during its trip to the garage.

You can pick up the Bronze Award-winning Death Rally from the App Store for £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39.

Oh, and you can watch some footage from the forthcoming update below.
