Dead or Alive 5 Plus to feature Cross Play, Cross DLC

The flagrantly flirty fighting franchise Dead or Alive is coming to the PS Vita this year, and Team Ninja has revealed some news that will be sure to titillate its fans.

Famitsu - via Siliconera - revealed that Dead or Alive 5 Plus will support both Cross Saves and Cross Play.

The former feature will allow players to play through the game's story mode on their PS3 and Vitas interchangeably, while the latter will allow Vita players to challenge PS3 players (and vice versa).

More interestingly, however, is that Dead or Alive 5 Plus will support a "Cross Goods" feature that will enable Vita players to use DLC costumes purchased for the PS3 version of Dead or Alive 5.

Conversely, the provocative Paradise costumes which are included with the special edition Cross Play Pack will be usable on both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game.

Show some skin

New and exclusive to Dead or Alive 5 Plus is touchscreen fighting controls and a first-person perspective that allows you to get a close look at your opponent as you deliver devastating taps and touches.

The first-person perspective requires users to orient their Vitas vertically, which makes the touch-screen controls more accessible and useful.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus will be released in the US on March 19 and will come to Europe three days later on March 22.
