Tin Man Games will release Curse of the Assassin for iOS and Android tomorrow

No cursing

Tin Man Games will release Curse of the Assassin for iOS and Android tomorrow

It's been a while since Tin Man Games released a new digital book in the Gamebook Adventures series through which it made its name.

The Melbourne-based studio has been too busy making digital Fighting Fantasy books, Judge Dredd tie-ins, and comedic clone capers, you see.

But all that is set to change tomorrow with the release of Gamebook Adventures: Curse of the Assassin for iOS and Android.

It's the sequel to the very first Gamebook Adventures book, An Assassin in Orlandes.

Rather coincidentally, tomorrow also marks the fifth anniversary of Tin Man Games's time on this earth.

"What an incredible journey it's been for us over the last five years," Tin Man Games creative director Neil Rennison said in a press release.

"It's almost fateful that we should complete development on the sequel to the very book that started this adventure for us."

Further celebrations are in order, too, for this new Gamebook Adventures game will be dirt cheap during its first week on the App Store. You'll be able to grab Curse of the Assassin for just £1.99 / $2.99 for the first seven days.

And in case you need to catch up with the comings and goings of the first game, An Assassin in Orlandes will also be on sale for just 69p / 99c.
