CROSSFIRE: Warzone receives a Revenge feature and exchange event as part of its festive celebration

Joycity has outfitted CROSSFIRE: Warzone with some festive cheer with a new Christmas-themed makeover and competitive feature updates.

The tactical first person shooter is offering seasonal rewards too with its "‘Letter Collecting Event’. This event provides players with a Snowy Letter whenever they vanquish a monster, insurgent, or general evil-doer with the aim of forming special words with your letters which will reward you with fabulous items.

In addition, there's also an ‘Exchange Event’ where you'll receive a Christmas stocking that provides extra prizes, with a special Snowflake availalbe for especially lucky players that will bring an extra special prize.

The official festitivities kicked off on December 16th, bringing with it the gift of holiday cheer, winter décor for the HQ, and all the magic that this snow-white season rings in around the world, including a cameo from time to time by the jolliest of gentleman himself who'll be delivering gifts and some tactical merriment by way of Santa Sleigh flybys.

Competitive play is also getting a highly sought-after revamp. One of the most popular competitive features, the City Takeover, will now only be available for player Alliances that pre-register through the City Registration function. This function will not only allow Alliance members to be better organized, but it will bring competition to the fore, unifying Alliances and encouraging next-level, team coordination and troop loadout strategies.

Additional competition is also being added to the CROSSFIRE: Warzone Arena which will now offer a “Revenge” feature, giving players on the losing end of a contest 24 hours (from the time of the initial attack that ended in a loss) to seek their revenge.

CROSSFIRE: Warzone is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. For more details about the current festive event, be sure to also check out the official website and Facebook page.
