Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! launches crossover with Spyro in Season 3: Battle of the Dragons

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! has launched its third season titled Battle of the Dragons, which adds well-loved icon Spyro and his rogues' gallery into the fast-paced runner. As players dash through the Temple Ruins, Turtle Woods, The Lab, and Lost City, Spyro will join in on the fun along with new minions and a new land to boot.

Picking up from where the last season of Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! left off, Season 3 introduces the portal to the Dragon Realm - a remnant of N. Tropy’s banishment. Through the open portal leapt Dark Spyro and Gnasty Gnorc, and our favourite purple dragon must now team up with Crash and Coco to defeat the villains and repair the Dragon Portal in the process.

Spyro isn’t the only welcome addition to this epic crossover. The new season features exclusive rewards and new skins in the Bandicoot Pass, as well as new weekly missions for earning those sweet, sweet trophies. There will also be a new seasonal leaderboard to compete in.

Season 3: Battle of the Dragons also introduces a 12th land called Upstream. Here, players can find four battle runs, two challenge runs, a collection run, and a time trial. Fans of the franchise will likely recall the classic land when it first debuted in the OG Crash Bandicoot way back in 1996.

Defeating Dr. Neo Cortex’s henchmen is now even more exciting as Dark Spyro, Gnasty Gnorc, N. Gin, and Koala Kong enter the fray! Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! is available to download on the App Store and on Google Play as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can check out the official website to know more about the game.
