Run away from an angry giant in Colossus Escape for iOS and Android
Don't look behind you
You're stuck between a magma rock colossus and a hard place in Colossus Escape.
Yep, this is a side-scrolling endless-runner in which you run away from elemental titans and their smaller minions.
You do so by tapping the sides of the screen to jump over pits and spikes, and to swing your large sword at the countless minions running towards you.
Along the way, you can collect potions for shields, extra powers, and to keep you farther away from the colossus behind you.
You'll also be greeted by larger enemies (though not quite as big as the one behind you), whom you'll have to take on via QTEs. Expect plenty of screen mashing and precision tapping, then.
Having played Colossus Escape for a few minutes, I can't help but think that more variation will be needed to hold my interest for longer.
Put it this way: if you've played an endless-runner before, you'll know exactly what to expect here. A bit of a shame, really, considering the game's impressive visuals.
Still, there are more characters to unlock and areas to see, so perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised later on.
