Gamevil has launched its side-scrolling action-RPG Colosseum on the Android Market today, the latest from the Korean company to make the transition from the land of iOS.

Colosseum isn’t really in the same style as the company’s big franchise Zenonia, however. While you do spend most your time smashing up the undead and unleashing special attacks on their boney backsides, the action is viewed from the side, rather than the top.

A simplified RPG system runs through the game’s core, with upgradable weapons and skills available to take down the hordes.

A range of magical powers like lightning and fire can be cast from your knight’s fingertips, too, when the action gets a bit much.

We never reviewed the original on iOS, so we’ll no doubt be checking out this version soon. Colosseum is available now on the Android Market for £0.60 / $0.99 [download].
