Match the beats and rhythms in musical puzzler Circuits for iPad
Lend your ear
Five days ago I told you that Circuits was coming, and now it's here. How's that for service?
Each level in Circuits is a snippet of a song that you need to construct by dragging and dropping beats, chimes, and dotty rhythms.
You can play the song you're constructing, and will need to listen out for the many layers and different sounds in each part. Once you think you've got it, it's time to choose the right sounds for the right parts (hopefully).
Fortunately, Circuits gives you some excellent tools to scrutinize the sounds with. You can slide your finger to find the part of the song you want, filter the track by layers, and there are limited hints that show you which parts are wrong if you're really stuck.
As you can imagine, the levels get quite complex with the many layers, repetitions, different instruments, and dummy sounds to put you off. But its learning curve is gentle enough that you won't get lost.
Best of all, the music in Circuits boasts some good vibes. I recommend turning the volume of your iPad way up.
Circuits is available on the App Store, exclusively for iPad, for £1.49 / $1.99.
