Chess-inspired dungeon crawler Chesslike launches on iOS and Android

Chesslike, the dungeon crawler featuring chess pieces rather than knights and skeletons, is out now on iOS and Android for £1.49 / $1.99.

When we last talked about Chesslike, we mentioned that it was available to play in a browser on the game's website, and it still is if you want to try before you buy.

The game is a turn-based dungeon crawler where both you and your opponents are chess pieces that move and attack based on the rules of chess.

Of course, the rules are bent a little, so you can still move backwards, and the point isn't to get a checkmate in every room – just clear the board and move on to the next.

You can buy Chesslike on the App Store or Google Play.
