Castle Duels tips to get more victories on the board
If you want to win as many battles as possible, these Castle Duels tips should come in handy.
Don't let the colourful and cheerful aesthetic of MyGames' tower defence meets merge puzzler fool you. Each victory is hard fought, putting your tactical skills to the test as well as how you prepare before stepping foot into the battle arena.
As someone who enjoys these types of games, I can truly say that here, it mostly comes down to your deck. If you have a good deck, you can win more battles, and if you focus on the right cards, you'll most definitely win. But there's slightly more to it than that, which is where our Castle Duels tips will come in handy.

Tip #1 - Play around the weekly Faction Blessing
Every single week, a new Faction Blessing will become active. This feature will empower certain cards, and that's what you should form your deck around. I suggest you have at least one card upgraded from each Faction, so you can safely change your deck at will, based on this blessing.
Make sure the deck you have uses some of the best cards you currently have, because the level and rarity also have an impact on the deck level. The best option is to have at least one Epic or Legendary card from the faction that received the weekly boost.
Pro tip: Since you can have five cards in a deck and five deck presets, there are two ways to go about it. First, you can make one deck for each slot revolving around one faction. Secondly, you can simply have four base cards and swap out one depending on the faction that gets a boost.Tip #2 - Always go for the super merge
During battle, try to think about the number of units you have active in the arena. The idea is that the higher their level, the better, but sometimes it's simply not enough. There's power in numbers, and during the first turns, it's sometimes best not to merge your units, and instead overwhelm your opponent with numbers.
The more rounds you're in, the more important the level becomes. Make sure you focus on your strongest units, and try to get them to level 20 (super merge). Once you reach that point, they'll get a lot stronger.
Tip #3 - Clear out your arena
The best and fastest way to get some super-merged heroes is to clear out the arena. The rocks you break grant mana, and you need three mana to summon a new unit on the battlefield.
I suggest you spend the first couple of rounds trying to clear out as many rocks from the arena as possible. Keep track of which units are front line and which are back line, and while you go about breaking those mana rocks, also try arranging the units in a more front-to-back formation.
