Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies Lite out now on iPhone

Fancy a lite bite?

Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies Lite out now on iPhone

The first-person shooter hasn't exactly evaded the iPhone, but it's still one of the hot genres that developers are chasing after with rabid, slavering hunger.

Quite fitting, then, that Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies managed to catch it and devour it, when the bonus map from the hit PC game suddenly appeared from the iPhone ground to attack us.

We really loved the game, with its excellent controls, atmospheric location and rampant action, though a full price game always hurts like an undead Nazi chewing on your ankle. If you couldn't quite bring yourself to take the £5.99 plunge, you'll be glad to hear Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies Lite has just been resurrected on the App Store.

This free version gives you a taste of the blood and bullets before you decide whether it's time to make zombies slaying a full time hobby. Check out the Lite version by clicking here, or head on over to the full game by hitting the App Store button below.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
