Zed launches new mobile brain training game

It's fair to say that mobile is riddled (ho ho) with brain trainers, seeing as every major publisher and a few less major ones have released their own Nintendo homages in the last year.

The latest is Zed, which is offering Brain Coach to members of its Club Zed subscription service. It sounds pretty standard as these things go, with eight tests spread between four categories: logic, maths, memory and visual.

There are three difficulty levels (easy, medium, and hard), and you track how clever you're getting through a personal brain evolution chart.

Oh, and there's a cheeky mascot, as there always has to be, called Crazy Genius, who guides you through the game. The most innovative aspect of Brain Coach is that it ties in with Zed's community, allowing players to test their wits against each other.

The game's out now.
