Boom Mania lets you relive Bomberman vibes across randomly generated levels, out now on mobile
Czech Games Edition has officially announced the launch of Boom Mania, a retro-inspired game that's reminiscent of classic 80s hits. Out now on iOS and Android, the arcade title features pixel-art graphics and elements that combine vibes from Bomberman and The Legend of Zelda.
In Boom Mania, players can expect to bomb their way through procedurally generated levels using controls optimised for touchscreens. There will also be epic boss fights that will put players' bombing prowess to the test.
"I always loved Bomberman and other old arcade classics. But I haven't found any good mobile reimplementation of this kind of game from my childhood. I had Boom Mania in my mind for over a decade, and one afternoon Dávid and I decided to bring it to life," says CGE co-founder Daniel Musil. This was a passion project of his with graphic designer Dávid Jablonovský.
If you're eager to join in on all the fun and experience the game for yourself, you can download Boom Mania on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a premium title that costs $4.99 a pop or your local equivalent, but there's an ongoing discount promotion at the moment that lets players nab the game at $2.99 until September 20th.
