NetEase Games hit competitive shooter Blood Strike is set to expand with plenty of new content this month. The August patch for Blood Strike introduces a new map, additional Striker and free gifts to claim. That's alongside a bevvy of refinements to Blood Strike to further improve everyone's experience.
The new map being added in the August update is Skyline Beach. Taking the shoot 'em up action of Blood Strike to the seaside, Skyline Beach features rolling hills, scattered urban zones and, of course, a lush sandy beach. But there are hints that there are mysterious secrets also to be uncovered by the inquisitive among you.
Speaking of mysteries, why not jump into the world of the Iga ninja? Katya is the newest striker to be added to the roster, with abilities such as Delayed Ark Kunai that can slow down targets, or the Phoenix Soaring Dance, letting you dash and climb up walls.

Strikes in the blood
As for how you'll be able to dominate these new maps, we've got the addition of the Spear. Not a melee weapon, surprisingly, as this precision rifle offers a 2.0x Thermal Scope, allowing you to spot enemies through smoke, and will be available in the Strike Pass and level-up rewards. There's also Skyline Beach Gifts to claim, such as the free event-tier weapon URB - Evolved Viper that you can unlock by exploring the beach and completing event missions. Inviting friends before August 24th will also slash the price of the epic melee skin Golf Club to free. And there's even more you'll want to jump in and find for yourself!
