Match shapes to clobber dragons in upcoming pixel-art puzzler Block Legend
Tap to block
We're suckers for pixel art here at Pocket Gamer's blocky, '80s style office complex, and we're quite partial to the odd puzzler as well, so Block Legend is right up our street.
The game is a match-stuff puzzler mashed together with an 8-bit JRPG that sees you leading a cheery little warrior through a fantasy world, using the objects you connect to hit dragons and block Cyclops attacks.
Everything is presented in cute, blocky colours, and there are plenty of areas for you to explore, friends for you to meet, and monsters for you to whack in the face with your weapon.
There are boss fights and quests to complete, loads of equipment to collect, and a swathe of characters with different skills and hindrances to unlock and play as.
Block Legend is tentatively pencilled in for a December release, with the fall-back plan of getting the game out before February next year.
We will, of course, keep you posted when we hear any more details about release date or price. Because that's just the sort of thing we do.TouchArcade Forum
