Battlecruisers releases its biggest update yet with the new Trans Edition
Bigger, better, explodi-er

- Battlecruisers newest, and perhaps biggest, update is here
- It introduces new battlecruisers, units, weapons and more
- There's also a suite of enhancements, such as cross-play and more
If you've been hankering for nuclear annihilation, autonomous war machines destroying one another in apocalyptic conflict, and a healthy dose of Kiwi humour, then you're in luck; because the stylish and destructive Battlecruisers has received possibly its biggest update yet as it graduates to the Trans Edition.
For a brief intro, Battlecruisers sees you step into the steel-clad boots of an autonomous robot called Charlie in the distant future, where humanity has ceased to be and their creations continue to build and fight on their behalf. After a joyride gone horribly wrong you end up embroiled in an ever-escalating battle against other robots.
Rendered in a suitably monochrome style with the action silhouetted onto an endless black ocean, Battlecruisers was already well worth playing for gameplay and visual style alone. But this latest update takes it to the next level. Packed with brand-new cruisers, weapons weapons and units, it also introduces cross-play PvP to unite iOS, Android and Steam players.

Of course, those are only the big, noticeable changes. There's a whole host of other additional content and visual refinements being added to enhance the player experience. You can now enjoy enhanced effects and all the explosions your eyes can stomach, not to mention the nukes (as they're quick to point out).
Being available in over 15 languages and assurances of no pay-to-win, Battlecruisers looks to be offering a truly complete package. And considering that two million players have already enjoyed Battlecruisers, maybe now is the time to jump in and have yourself a go.
