Bedtime Digital Games is bringing its surreal somnambulist puzzler Back to Bed to iOS and Android in August.

Fans of Monument Valley's impossible architecture should really dig Back to Bed. It's puzzles are of a similar design, although the game is certainly much stranger.

It's about a narcoleptic called Bob whom you have to guide back to his bed as he sleep walks across the Dali-esque levels.

You play as Bob's guardian, Subob, which is a strange creature spawned from his subconscious to keep him safe.

You might do this by moving a large apple in Bob's path to make him change direction, avoiding a manhole.

You'll also need to ensure Bob doesn't wake up. This could mean shooing sentient alarm clocks out of the away.

It's a delightful mix of the bizarre and puzzling.

Back to Bed started out as an award-winning student project back in 2011. But, last year, Bedtime Digital raised enough funds on Kickstarter to turn it into a bigger game.

That funding also meant the team could bring it to iOS and Android. The mobile versions should arrive in August, just after the PC release.

There's more information on Back to Bed on the official website.
