Azur Lane adds six new shipgirls in the new A Dance for Amahara Above event

Fresh off celebrating its 7th anniversary last month, Azur Lane has just dropped its latest limited-time event, A Dance for Amahara Above, running until October 2nd. The update introduces six new Sakura Empire shipgirls, including two powerful Ultra Rare variants, alongside a wealth of new skins and rewards for Commanders to claim.
The A Dance for Amahara Above event in Azur Lane features a new story, Turmoil in the Ninja Castle, where you can take on stages to earn PT. Milestone rewards include the Elite shipgirl Taekaze, while PT can also be exchanged for valuable items such as the new Super Rare shipgirl Asama. The highlight, however, is the debut of two Ultra Rare shipgirls, Hakuhou and I-404.
Hakuhou is available in the Limited Construction Pool, while I-404 can be redeemed through special PT accumulation. Joining them are Oumi (Super Rare) and Minase (Elite), with all four enjoying construction rate-ups throughout the event.
For those under Level 80, sorties now grant double commander and ship EXP, making it the perfect time to strengthen your fleet. A special login campaign also adds extra rewards just for checking in. On top of that, Shiratsuyu receives a retrofit that boosts her rarity from Rare to Elite, expanding her long-term potential.
The event shop isn’t short on style either, with over 20 new skins making their debut. Highlights include eight Ninja Castle-themed designs, such as Hakuhou’s new L2D+ skin, Floral Ninja Roleplay, L2D skins for Oumi and Asama, and dynamic outfits for I-404 and Morrison.

Sovetsky Soyuz also receives a striking dual-form skin, Stringed Interrogation, available to rent alongside Hakuhou and Oumi’s new looks. Returning outfits from past events are also making an appearance, alongside eight swimsuit and party dress skins added to the permanent shop.
