Seven years and counting

Azur Lane celebrates 7th anniversary with new shipgirls, freebies, and offline events
  • Log in daily to get a shipgirl of your choice
  • Boosted rates for a limited time
  • Offline events in the United States and France

Yostar Games is kicking off its 7th-anniversary festivities for Azur Lane, the studio's naval shoot-em-up on iOS and Android. In particular, the Secrets of the Abyss event will welcome five new shipgirls to the fray, along with limited-time goodies up for grabs.

This means that from now until August 27th, you can look forward to a bunch of giveaways, including ten new skins for Commanders within the shop. Of course, a special check-in event is also underway. All you have to do is log in every day to score one of eight shipgirls of your choice - not bad for simply checking in for seven days, no?

That's on top of server-wide anniversary goodies too, with extra perks and boosted rates for The Wishing Well and the Double Gem bonus. Suffice it to say that the festivities are definitely not to be missed here - and rightly so given how seven years in the mobile industry is no easy feat.

That means exclusive merch and limited-edition freebies, with the event running from the 16th to the 17th at the Maillé Brézé Museum in Nantes and from August 30th to the 31st in New Jersey.

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Azur Lane on the App Store or on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
