Fresh footage and details emerge for Assassin's Creed Identity ahead of its February release

Assassin's Creed Identity finally got aconfirmed release date this week after a lengthy soft launch period.

Well it looks like Ubisoft had more to share this week as two Q&A video just popped up, confirming new details on the game and showcasing its gameplay.

Assassin's Creed Identity wants to be a fully fledged Assassin's Creed title. In it, you'll parkour your way through ten huge cities, here all located in Italy, in search of targets that you need to kill. Its story is obviously filled with mysteries, conspirations and Templars as you'd expect from an Assassin's Creed title.

It differs in its gameplay though. It's an action RPG, which means that you'll level up skills and choose from four different classes that you can then customize to your liking.

You can choose to be a sneaky thief or a brutal berserker. You'll also collect loot and equip different items.

You'll have multiple ways of controlling the action. You can play the entire game with a single tap system or via the traditional virtual stick and buttons. If you happen to have a MFi controller lying around, you'll also be able to use that.

Ubisoft explains that the shift in business model, from free to play to premium, occurred during the soft launch period because of players' feedback.

The game will launch February 25th on iOS. You can check both videos below.
