Skylanders Ring of Heroes introduces Relationships system and Shadow King Pen in content update

Skylanders Ring of Heroes has released a new Legendary Skylander, Shadow King Pen, and a cool new Relationships system in its latest update. The hero-collecting RPG from Com2uS brings fan favourites from the popular Skylanders IP to mobile in a turn-based battle system, now with a new twist.

The Relationships system lets players group similar Skylanders according to certain characteristics. With this category, players can earn rewards each time they grow in every group. As plenty of units are bound to a single character under certain relationships, this new system boosts the fun factor of collecting characters and upgrading them.

The latest update also adds Shadow King Pen into the fray. Shadow King Pen takes the form of a penguin and is the first dark character introduced after the light/dark summon system was implemented. Of course, looks can be deceiving, because King Pen can unleash powerful freeze skills that deal massive damage despite how cute he may look.

The new gardener-turned-Portal Master Adriana also joins the content update, as well as tons of other exciting events that will help players boost their overall experience of the game. There will be cool in-game goodies and rewards, as well as a wide variety of exclusive items for upgrading Skylanders like Skill Power-up Stones. Players can complete various missions with the launch of the Relationships system to really help you get the hang of the new implementation.

Skylanders™ Ring of Heroes is available to download on the App Store and on Google Play. It’s a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. If you want to find out more about the game, you can visit the official website, or join the discussion among the fans on the official Facebook community.
