Pako Caravan is one of those games that just about as perfect for mobile as they come. It's actually a fresh new take on a classic game, known as Snake. Yeah, I'm sure you remember that game from the old Nokia days, which sort of opened the floodgates for the massive industry we know today.

The goal is to try and connect as many cars as you can. You want to form a giant snake of cars in order to get the best score you possibly can. Yup, it's that simple of a concept. Go for the highest scores, and unlock some new levels for you to check out.

The game brings some fun, vibrant colours and graphics to the classic Snake, but, of course, with the many cars, scattered about. There are some other features too that are unique to Pako Caravan, and we'll tell you some things you should know about this freebie.

A Surprising Amount of Challenge

Pako Caravan tips

Pako Caravan will hit you with the "casual" game look. And yes, it does provide accessibility for any mobile gamer, but it does come with a sneaky degree of difficulty. The maps can feel tight, and one little bump will end your session on each level.

There are also no borders or walls in each location either. So, not only do you have to make sure you aren't crashing into walls, and other (non-collectible) cars, but you also need to make sure you don't go flying off the map too. This can be quite awkward when it happens (I know the pain).

With all that being said, the game is also pretty forgiving too. Once you start to get a groove with it, it'll start to stick a bit. While this is true for most games with any level of difficulty, some may take longer to get comfortable with than others. It's really all about getting comfortable with the maps you're playing on. Comfort is confidence, and confidence leads to great scores.

The Ability to Jump

One feature that stands out for Pako Caravan compared to other snake games is that you have the ability to avoid obstacles in a unique way. A nifty jump feature is available for use at certain levels. It, unfortunately, isn't there for you in the first level, but you'll appreciate it in the next one.

That first level is a good way to work on your ground game. Feel free to replay it as many times as you like, and try to go for your highest score yet. It's a good way for you to get used to swerving around areas. But, that jump button definitely comes in handy when you need it.

The second level is a bit tighter than the first, so it's good to be able to just hop on over obstacles and such to collect those cars and boost your score. Take advantage of it and have some fun with it too. It looks cool once you master the skill.

Wacky Levels

We talked a little bit about the maps in Pak Caravan and I'll tell you right away that they are all vibrant and wild in design. Each one presents beautiful colours and such, but also provides unique challenges. Each one has their obstacles for you to overcome.

They also have their own themes. From basic parking lots to parks and even stock exchanges. and carnival-type areas. There's also a cool Halloween-themed location too, with ghosts and all. This nice mixture of areas will keep you on your toes as you play.

You essentially have to get comfortable with each one before you can reach a great score there. Like with many games, you learn from mistakes and patterns that you might've missed. Then, you succeed with flying colours across the board. Or, perhaps you'll be cosy right away. In that case, then great!
