Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, the auto-runner game based on the popular IP, is supposedly coming to mobile platforms next month according to Activision’s latest financial report.

In the latest financial call from Activision, which can be read here, King President Humam Sakhnini says that the team is “hard at work bringing Crash On The Run! to our mobile audiences next month.”

This is corroborated earlier in the report as Daniel Alegre, President and COO of Activision Blizzard says: “King will add to its portfolio this quarter with the launch of Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! next month.” This was also confirmed by our sister site, PocketGamer.biz.

When Crash Bandicoot: On the Run was announced last year, the release date was officially given as Spring 2021, however a listing on the iOS App Store suggested the game would be coming to mobile on 25th March, which fits with what Sakhini has reported. That date has still remained there on the store page, suggesting it was not a placeholder like some of these dates tend to be.

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run will be a new mobile game that delivers the classic gameplay that fans of the series are familiar with, as well as some new additions such as base building and crafting. You will battle against iconic bosses such as Dingodile, Scorporilla, and Dr. Neo Cortex himself.
