Marvel Super War's third season is now underway and Adam Warlock has also been added to NetEase's MOBA

Marvel Super War, NetEase's MOBA based on the ever-popular franchise, has started its second season which introduces new skins, a hero and the beta of a competitive regional event called Zone Invasion. The game is currently available for both iOS and Android but only in select regions.

The new skins up for grabs see additions to the Space War collection. Both Iron Man and Captain Marvel can now sport this theme as they dive into battle. They will be called Planetary Armor and Planetary Ace for Iron Man and Captain Marvel respectively, promising special effects that show off their interstellar combat skills.

Elsewhere, a new hero is now available called Adam Warlock. Adam was created by a group called the Enclave and was given his name because he was intended to be a perfect lifeform. He takes the battlefield equipped with a plethora of cosmic powers and he will be an Energy Hero in Marvel Super War.

Lastly, Zone Invasion will begin beta testing in two of the regions where Super War is available, Thailand and the Philippines. This is a regional competition that will look to crown the best players in each of those countries. If the event is successful NetEase says it will expand into other regions in the coming weeks.

The Ranked Match System and Energy System have also received a new interface complete with 3D effects. It also introduces an adventure called Interstellar Voyage which will give players the opportunity to explore additional features and try out skins.

Marvel Super War is available now over on the App Store and Google Play in select countries, with no word on a global release yet. The regions that can play the game currently are Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and India. Marvel Super War is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
