Orwell: Keeping an Eye On You, the narrative-driven Big Brother sim, is now available for Android

Osmotic Studios and Fellow Traveller's Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You initially launched for iOS earlier this year after receiving critical praise on PC. When the iPhone and iPad edition launched, the developers also announced they were working on an Android port too, which is now available as a premium title. 

As you might be able to infer from the name, Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You is based on the idea of a surveillance state, where you'll be able to take on the role of Big Brother. Following a series of terrorist attacks, you're tasked with investigative the lives of the various citizens in order to find those responsible.

This will be achieved using a program called Orwell, which provides you with access to their internet history, personal communications, the files saved on their computers and even their medical records. To try and maintain the citizen's privacy it's up to those using Orwell to decide which information to pass on to security forces and which pieces to withhold. Regardless, the data you choose to share could have serious consequences for those individuals.

As you might imagine then, it's about as invasive as it gets, with players able to dig up all of the unsavoury information that folks hide from even their closest friends and family, so expect plenty of mature themes in this game. But is that information important to this investigation? That's up to you decide and it will certainly have an impact on how those people are perceived.
