With lots of folks currently stuck indoors under lockdown, we've seen a number of games that rely on outdoor play adapt to suit those very wisely staying home. Niantic was quick to introduce indoor features to Pokemon GO, so it comes as little surprise to hear that similar accessibility changes are soon set to arrive in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
The Knight Bus, first seen in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, can whisk you off to a faraway fortress in the blink of an eye. All you're going to have to do to begin your trip is tap on the new Knight Bus button on the map view.
Once you've arrived at the fortress, situated at Hogwarts Castle, you'll have all manner of tricky foes to face. It's worth pointing out that you need to be at least level 7 or above to use the new Knight Bus feature. According to the official patch notes, the Knight Bus will be a permanent part of Wizards Unite from here on.
"Just like the iconic Knight Bus itself, we hope this new feature will come to the aid of players and help them get back into one of their favourite aspects of the game from the safety of their homes".
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is available for download now as a free-to-play title from both the App Store and Google Play. While our initial review from launch wasn't particularly glowing, Niantic has continued to push out new updates on the regular that have improved the experience considerably.
