Secret Files 3 is now available for Android following its recent iOS release

Secret Files 3 released fairly recently for iOS devices and now it's available for Android. The latest instalment in the long-running series starts with Nina's fiancé Max getting arrested. Unsure of why this has happened, Nina begins to investigate.

Max manages to send her a secret message that will help kick-off the quest to look into his arrest. However, she finds there might be more afoot than her future husband being arrested when she learns the watchers are involved once again and there might be more at stake than a delayed wedding.

As you can tell from the trailer above, Secret Files 3 quickly goes down a crazy rabbit hole involving a dark secret hidden in the number Pi and ancient conspiracies that go back thousands of years. The gameplay will see you solving a variety of riddles as you make your way through 80 locations.

It's a point-and-click adventure game then and if you're a fan of the genre it might be worth delving into the Secret Files series, though naturally, it might be advisable to start from the beginning so you know who all the characters are. It'd certainly take up a fair bit of time if you did. Secret Files 3 alone promises 8 hours of playtime with the other entries into the series making similar claims.

We've reviewed a few games from the series including Secret Files Tunguska, which released back in 2014. Our reviewer at the time, Mark Brown, gave the game a bronze rating finding it to be 'an enjoyable adventure with some good puzzles and lots of locations. It's just not imaginative or exciting enough for a full recommendation'.

Secret Files 3 is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium title that costs $4.99.
