We catch up with Youzu to get the inside track on Legacy of Discord – Furious Wings

The wait is finally over, because Youzu Interactive’s brand new action role playing game is available to download right now. From the developers who brought you other great titles including League of Angels – Fire Raiders and Youth of the Three Kingdoms, comes the brand new mobile game – Legacy of Discord – Furious Wings.

Released earlier this week, the app hopes to be the dominating force of the ARPG world – earning recommendations at the 2016 Apple worldwide developers’ conference, that lead to its now global feature on Google Play.

Boasting an engine specifically designed to push the limits of mobile gaming while maintaining optimal performance, Legacy of Discord – Furious Wings looks to set the bar high above its competitors in the MMORPG genre.

Put your skills to the test in the many PvE modes, including story campaigns, boss challenges, and trails, or set your competitive streak wild and fight to the death in loads of real time combat events. But if you’re more of a team player, you can even join the guild 5v5 tower defence to come together to defend the honour of your guild.

With distinct classes to choose from - each with their own unique skill sets, loads of customisation options to aid your characters’ development, and the major wrathwings feature that can be equipped to gain immense power - it’s no wonder the game’s doing so well.

We’re so excited to find out more about what Legacy of Discord has to offer, so we caught up with the Youzu devs to get the inside track on its newest release.

What do you think your game offers that you can’t get from any other title on the app stores?

Legacy of Discord- Furious Wings is the next generation of Action RPGs which is designed by an original Fancy-3D engine specially designed for mobile phones to maximize performance on mobile with intense real-time combat and extremely swift action, to unleash devastating skills and chain combos with optimized touch controls.

As an ARPG Game, this game has numerous gameplay modes and in game content, like 1000 players co-online experience PVP arena together with fantastic PVE adventure. Upgrade and transform yourself from a fledging warrior to an unstoppable God of War.

Not to mention the stunning visuals, brilliant 3D graphics and special effects, highly detailed characters and fluid animations keep the combat fast and furious; Epic Boss encounters test your skills and wits to the fullest.

Last but not the least, endless customization. With hundreds of Items and equipment providing unrivalled character customization; Unlock legendary Wrathwings and watch them transform in battle to grant devastating power. You can also tame Mythical Beasts as pets and have them aid you in battle.

What challenges did you face during development on Legacy of Discord, and how did you overcome them?

The challenges during development are many; we’ve made several adjustments to polish the game for the most comfortable game experience. Instead of clicking ground, we enhance the sense of control by moving the joystick which supports a quarter of screen operation, to facilitate the gamers’ overall operation.

Mobile adaptation is also a major challenge, we targeted the most appropriate models to ensure that all mobile platforms are able to smoothly run the game whilst providing visual stunning effects.

Rhythm of the overall framework of the game is also a challenge to our planning, too burdened load will tire our gamer or too little changes make them did not have much more to play. After systematic and quantitative data planning, the overall pace of game content enriches players to experience.

Which part of the game are you personally the most proud of and why?

First of all, the art and design of the game is the most amazing part, like exaggerated armour, eye-catching wings. We pay attention to every detail. It’s not common to show 3D wings or pets in a mobile game like we do. Second, we cherish every little thing that can make a difference for players, in training stage to fully equipped Guardian, we aim to deliver constant surprises for players.

Do you have anything planned in terms of future updates for the game and, if so, can you give us any details of what these might include?

Cross Server Championship, New guild based combat, More mythical pets, wrath wings and costumes are coming.

How has initial fan reaction been to Legacy of Discord?

Shortly after the first reveal announcement of Legacy of Discord, GTArcade chose 30 experienced players out and started a closed beta test. The game was very well-received, with players praising the game's great graphics, fast and intense combat, and abundance of features with thousands players generated video contents.
