Cube Knight is a chunky 3D pixel retelling of the legends of King Arthur. Well, it sort of is anyway. To start with you’re controlling Guinevere in a quest to reclaim the grail.
There’s a focus on action here. Lots of running around and shooting or stabbing things. Much like in the original legends. Except not really at all.
On the plus side this probably makes for a much more entertaining game than a lot of swooning and chivalry.
You’ve got bosses to fight, a frantic colosseum mode to unlock, and loads of weapons to upgrade. It’s a 3D twin stick shooter with some knights thrown in, basically.
And it’s out right now on the App Store and the Google Play Store, and it won’t cost you anything to grab it from either of those places.
