Psychonauts straps in for PS:VR with Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin
VR exclusive adventure sounds double-fine, actually
Like the second coming Psychonauts 2 was announced last week, asking players to chuck money into the giant internet hat to bring this, the most anticipated sequel of all time, to life.
But, as Double Fine themselves put in their newsletter: "Once you get started announcing games, it's very hard to stop…".
On stage at the PlayStation Experience on Saturday, we were introduced to Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin, a VR adventure bridging the gap between Psychonauts and its sequel.
Psychonauts left players on a cliffhanger, so Rhombus of Ruin will be swooping in to clean up all of that messy plot in time for Psychonauts 2: Psychonaut harder, which raised $1 million in crowdfunding in the first 24 hours and is almost definitely going to happen.
There's a video but it's mostly just a photo of Raz strapping on a PS:VR headset and pulling his best Palmer Luckey pose. It made me laugh, so I've put it below.
