Japanese indie studio Miracle Positive will be bringing its sandbox action-RPG Airship Q to PS Vita this year with help from publisher Cygames.

This has actually been known for a few months now, but the announcement of a PS4 version yesterday reminded me that I hadn't shared the news yet. Oh, and it's also coming to PC.

Airship Q has you playing as a person who finds themselves on another planet as a cat-person. You need to find the Empress in order to turn back into a human and head back to Earth.

However, you don't know where the Empress is, and so you need to explore the procedurally generated biomes for signs of her.

While doing this, you'll encounter sky pirates, and other hostile native creatures. So you'll need to craft weapons and items from the resources you dig up to survive.

The best way to get around is using your airship, though, as the title points towards. You'll want to upgrade it with the materials you find in order to travel faster.

So yep, Airship Q is quite a bit like Terraria, with more of a focus on air travel and combat, and that whole cat-person thing.

We'll let you know when we hear more about its arrival on PS Vita later this year. Check out its website for more details in the meantime.
