Are you a game developer? Come to the Apps World Big Indie Pitch!
|

Are you an up and coming indie dev trying to get your latest title out there, in front of the public and members of the industry and press?

Well, this year's Apps World, taking place in the ExCel Centre on November 12th and 13th, is the prime place to prove your stuff on the big stage in the Big Indie Pitch, sponsored by Immersion.

Previous Big Indie Pitch entrants have gone on to top charts, receive wide press coverage, and even claim coveted Gold Awards from us here at Pocket Gamer.

One recent example is the bone-chillingly good Skullduggery!, which we called "a terrific little game for iOS, with an ingenious control scheme that nicks a mechanic from a casual game and applies it to a tricky, exacting, hardcore platformer."

How does it work? Well, it's a bit like speed-dating. Sit down and put your game in the hands of industry leaders and journalists for feedback and exposure that'll help you get some buzz for your studio and finish forging your tip-top game.

The winner of each show receives a huge promo press package that'll lavish the triumphant title with coverage across the Steel Media network, including Pocket Gamer, 148Apps, and AppSpy.

Be sure to have your business cards, portable charger, and latest build at the ready as around 12,000 people are expected to attend Apps World this year.

Entry to the Big Indie Pitch is completely free whether you're a developer or you're just interested in the scene. Just be sure to sign up here, or at the bottom of this very page. Remember to bring your business card along on the day too.

If you'd like some more details, print out this handy info pack and share it with your chums on the team and in the industry - we want to see you there, and play your game.

Good luck - we look forward to seeing you there!
