If you live in Europe and like the idea of fielding an army of hypothetical future babies that you made with seven powerful anime heroines, we have some great news for you.

Atlus has announced that it'll publish its upcoming JRPG Conception II in Europe sometime in Q2 2014 for both the 3DS and PS Vita.

Unfortunately, there's a bit of a caveat here.

Conception II will only be available on the eShop and PlayStation network in Europe - there are no plan for a physical release.

Be fruitful and multiply

Conception II's gameplay mixes the social link elements of games like Persona with strategic battle elements that you'd normally expect to find in a strategy RPG.
Players take control of a male disciple of the Star Gods and form social bonds with the seven aforementioned - and heavily armed - heroines of the story. As these bonds grow stronger, the couple can produce "Star Children". These adorable, and deceptively powerful, tykes are then used in battle to help take down massive monsters in the Pandora Labyrinth. Each monster has weaknesses based on where it's looking, so careful positioning during battles is key to success.

Conception II will be released in North America on April 15. Those who pre-order the physical releases in North America will receive a special 10-track mini CD with music from the game.
