You know, I used to edit Edge magazine. It's probably one of the most prestigious gaming publications in the world. It is the Ferrari of video game magazines.

I'm not bragging, I'm just saying that you may think a former Edge editor has better things to do with his time than to write a quick news post about a site revamp. And you'd be right.

No. I jest. Provided you care, everything has equal value. And we care. I care. Which is why swipe magazine's site,, has undergone a shiny and loving makeover.

(If you missed it, we've recently done a similar thing with our Pocket Gamer Guides site, - something else we're fond of).

Sure, it's a simple site that focuses on detailing the content of the current issue (and that of past editions). But it's clean. It's tidy. It's what swipe magazine deserves.

How so? Well, as the site will tell you, swipe is a delicately crafted bundle of interactive digital joy that focuses only on the very best content (a bit like Edge) on the App Store, meaning every iPad owner should read it. And it's free (definitely not like Edge).

Right, my work here is done. I'll return to playing my copy of Rez which has been personally autographed by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, then.
