Questing on a budget: Kemco puts its Android RPGs on sale for 99c / 99p

When playing through a traditional turn-based JRPG, you expect certain recurring characters like elves, wizards, goblins, and Kemco Games to appear.

Kemco Games has been developing and publishing since 1984, but most mobile gamers are familiar with Kemco for its expansive catalog of Android JRPGs.

Today, Kemco Games announced a reward for its loyal customers on Google Play - the publisher has put almost all of its games on a limited-time sale for 99c / 99p.

A random encounter

The phrase "most all" might seem a bit odd, but the Xperia Play version of the Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning Knight of the Earthends was excluded from the sale and retains its price of $3.99 / £2.49.

The non-Xperia version of Earthends is on sale for 99c / 99p, alongside 18 other titles including the Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winners Grinsia, Symphony of Eternity, and Covenant of Solitude.

Curiously, this sale doesn't extend to Kemco's more limited iOS presence, where its Bronze Award-winning Symphony of the Origin just ended its introductory sale period and jumped to $10.99 / £7.49.
