Specs, pics, and pricing for Sony's upcoming Xperia quad core tablet leaked
Oh Sony, you tease
All those waiting for the right time to pick up a Sony Tablet S may want to wait a little longer - it appears as if Sony is poised to update its tablet line.
Leaked pictures from the German news site Mobiflip.de purport to show the Sony Xperia Tablet, and it looks like quite the powerful little number.
Under the (rumoured) hoodThe Sony Xperia Tablet will allegedly boast a Tegra 3 quad core processor, and will be available in 16, 32, and 64GB memory options (with an SD slot, naturally).
It will also feature 3G connectivity, an 8MP camera main camera, a 1MP front-facing camera for video calls and a neat keyboard cover.
The 9.4 inch display will have a native resolution of 1280x800, and the Xperia Tablet will run Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) out of the box.
All of these specs are quite impressive, but the 8.8mm thick tablet becomes more problematic when the pricing is considered: $449.99 for the 16GB model, $549.99 for the 32GB model, and $649.99 for the 64GB.
