Gameloft RTS Starfront: Collision collides with New Zealand App Store

Gameloft's anticipated iPhone real-time strategy game Starfront: Collision has hit the New Zealand App Store, a week after its original due date of February 10th.

Set on the alien planet of Sinistral, the game sees you choosing from three warring species (aliens, robots and, of course, humans) and then taking your chosen species into battle.

There’s a four-player local and online mode included, as well as 20 single-player missions, and five multiplayer maps.

Before making a purchase make sure you own either a third- or fourth-generation iPhone or iPod touch.

Starfront: Collision follows the freemium lead of recent Zelda tribute Sacred Odyssey. The first few solo missions are free to download, but it will cost you £3.99 / $6.99 / €5.49 if you want to experience the rest of what Starfront: Collision has to offer. The game will be out at around 11pm EST in the US, and 12am in the UK.
