Buccaneer Blitz sails onto iPhone and iPad

Namco’s 3D real-time pirate strategy game Bucaneer Blitz has dropped anchor in the App Store today.
The game puts the player in the role of the pirates’ invisible overseer, rather than a scurvy buccaneer, taking out rival pirates with powers, sending out armies to conquer areas, and firing broadsides at opposing ships.
Along with the single-player mode that sees you smashing the AI controlled bases with your mighty pirate powers, Buccaneer Blitz also comes with a comprehensive multiplayer mode over wi-fi or Bluetooth.
There are 15 levels out of the gate, but another 12 are available via in-app purchases immediately on release for 59p / 99c.
Buccaneer Blitz is available now on the App Store for £1.79 /$2.99 / €2.39.
