Angry Birds Android beta due this week

Rovio’s Angry Birds has truly soared on iPhone and Ovi, with its colourful blend of cartoony visuals and physics-based gameplay proving a hit with pocket gamers of all persuasions.
It’s been set for a belated appearance on Android for some time now, and we could be set to see something very soon indeed.
If recent rumours are to be believed, those who’ve signed up to the official website will be receiving a beta version of the game by Friday.
According to Droid-Life, an email from Rovio confirmed that “We are going to send out a massive beta test to everyone that signed up to android.angrybirds.com at the end of the week.”
We got an exclusive peek at the game in action on a Milestone back in June, and we know that the game’s in the closing stages of production. Fingers crossed that we’ll be seeing something over the next few days.
