With App Store discovery an ever present problem, Chinese developer Dreamsky has come up with a neat app that could help developers gain some attention.

Called iGameDock, it acts as a constantly rotating carousel, with its three slots changing every two weeks with new content. Inclusion is free, and Dreamsky says revenue sharing opportunities are available.

Obviously, it will work best as a pre-launch marketing option to gain a fanbase before games go live on the App Store.

It's just launched at the cost of 99c, €0.79 or 59p, with the full versions of three games that have previously been available on the App Store: brain game Left or Right; memory game Electron Zero and neat Geometry Wars clone Particle Wars.

All three use the Scoreloop social gaming platform to provide leaderboards, challenges and virtual coins. It's not clear whether selected games will have to use Scoreloop. Games will be limited in size to less than 20 MB though so the updates can be downloaded over-the-air via 3G.

The app is also one of the first to integrate FreeAppADay's XML feed so users can see what titles are currently free via that promotion and go directly to the App Store to download them.

You can get iGameDock via this iTunes link, or get in contact with Dreamsky via its website.
