Without getting too deeply into the 'inspired by' versus 'rip off' argument, we think it's fair to say Candy Cane’s latest game Shipwreck bears more than a passing resemblence to a certain Harbor Master. Although, of course, this in turn could been said to have been influenced in part by one Flight Control.

As Picasso reportedly said: "Bad artists copy. Good artists steal."

Whichever, Shipwreck - a routing game that has you drawing the directions to unload five different types of ship at the correct docks and then get them back to the ocean without collisions - is live on the App Store.

Each type of ship has a different speed and unloading times: something the in-game tutorial will teach you all about. There's also a statistic record of your activities, which is something that will be further expanded with a global leaderboard in a future update.

Other planned enhancements include more ports and different game modes.

Shipwreck is available now, currently priced at 99c or 59p. Hit the Buy It! button to be ocean bound.
