ngmoco Quake-killer LiveFire announced for iPhone
And it's got micropayments
It’s the iPhone 3.0 unveiling, and doings are a happening in the world of Apple. Our own Stu Dredge is liveblogging the event, but here’s a nugget from his seemingly endless, intermittently serious stream of consciousness.
Respected developer ngmoco is set to release a Quake-killing first-person shooter by the name of LiveFire. It has touchscreen controls (obviously) and push notifications that invite other players into matches.
It’ll also contain micro-payments, so that players with more money than skill can even up the odds, society-style.
Little else is known about the game, announced as it was less than an hour ago, but given the quality of the developer we’re optimistic.
