33 PSP games to be playable through Sony's adhocParty service
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City and more go from local to online
You might remember that back when Sony announced it was bringing direct PlayStation Store access to PSP, it also revealed another innovation. That was the adhocParty service – a feature that would allow local ad-hoc multiplayer games to work online via a PS3.
Well, today Sony Japan has released a list of the games that are now compatible with the service: 33 in total.
Currently the service is only up and running in Japan, but should it prove successful we can't see why it wouldn't be trotted out worldwide, since it would appear to be quite a simple thing to implement.
If it does happen, here's what you can look forward to playing should you happen to own a PS3 – minus the Japanese titles of course, unless you happen to like playing your games in Japanese (list courtesy of PSPFanboy). Note Monster Hunter Portable Second G is on there, which should help shift another few million copies…
