We were quite the fans of Chopper back in July (and we still are, in fact), so we've some good news for anyone who hasn't got around to picking it up for their iPhone yet.

To celebrate the approval (and imminent launch) of his new game, Duck, Duck, Duck, the developer of both games – David Frampton of Majic Jungle Software – has reduced the price of his first title.

The Choplifter clone made superb use of the iPhone's attributes to update the classic gameplay and put the accelerometer to excellent use early on in the iPhone's gaming life.

Initially priced at £4.99, you can steal it away for just £1.19 – but don't hover for too long; this is a limited offer. So waste little time in clicking 'Buy It!' below.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
