More news from the mobile-Facebook convergence zeitgeist (or something): US firm Cellufun has launched a Facebook application providing access to its range of WAP games.

The Facebook app includes all the social aspects of the WAP titles, including high-score tables and multiplayer gaming. It'll also publish your game news in your Facebook status update, to boost your bragging rights.

Cellufun has also released some pretty impressive stats for its WAP portal. It's now attracting five million unique visitors a month - five times its figure last May.

Meanwhile, political boxing game The Mobile Ring has been played more than 2.2 million times in the last 160 days, according to the company.

Cellufun has also revealed plans for new WAP games based on farming and mining, as well as new titles in its MobilePets range.
