Eidos preparing to launch action-packed platformer

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men goes mobile

Those of you with consoles may be aware of the co-operative action title, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. It's due to be released for Xbox 360 this side of Christmas, but turns out publisher Eidos is also working on a mobile version.

The publisher has taken the Splinter Cell approach, turning a 3D console adventure into a 2D platformer. The game is based on two death-row prisoners, Kane and Lynch, who have to fight their way through 38 levels of explosive action.

As you'd expect, you'll have an arsenal of weapons to use along the way, while Eidos is promising that the game will look amazing, complete with particle-effect explosions and characterful level design.

Other details are scarce for the moment, so feast your eyes on the current screenshots, and click 'Track It!' for an alert whenever we next cover Kane & Lynch: Dead Men.
