Play golf through the alphabet in Alphaputt when it lands on iOS
And it's up for pre-order now if you're keen
There are a lot of wonderfully crafted and interesting golf games on mobile and there are some iffy ones, too. However, Alphaputt definitely seems to be one to look out for and it's heading to iOS on November 10th. You can pre-order it on the App Store for £2.99/$2.99 right now.
It's taken two years for Alphaputt to come to light and it's looking seriously good so far. In it, you'll need to putt your way through the game's letter-based levels, each of which has a snazzy theme around its letter ('S' for sushi, for example).2 years of work and finally it is here: Alphaputt is now ready for pre-order in the App store. 26 characters, unlimited courses, one shot for a hole-in-one. Depending on how you feel, there are multiple game modes for you to try out, personalised courses to make, and multiplayer play for up for four people.
The alphabet is an interesting thing to apply to other mediums. Whether you're looking to spell things out with your food or be able to craft your own tiny signs for Instagram, in gaming it's a bit of a tricky balance.
Though I'm intrigued by its concept, I'd hope the game plays as good as it looks. Let us know what you think of it in the comments down below.
